Trail Description
This short, high elevation trail is the easiest way to experience the alpine tundra. Pause along the paved trial and get down close to look at the tiny but incredibly diverse alpine plants with the many beautiful and miniature flowers. Expansive views in all directions of the surrounding peaks make this a must stop along Trail Ridge Road. How to Get There
15 miles from Estes Park, enter the National Park via the Beaver Meadows Entrance and follow the signs up Trail Ridge Road. The trail begins at the Rock Cut parking area. The trail is 26 miles from Grand Lake. |
