One of the joys of hiking the trails of Rocky Mountain National Park is marveling at the natural mountain gardens and the many wildflowers that occur in abundance. Being able to know a wildflower by its name adds to the appreciation. There are approximately 290 different wildflowers that occur in Rocky Mountain National Park, and right now about half of them are shown here.
