Trail Description
Once past Adams Falls, the first half of this hike in Rocky Mountain National Park follows the northern edge of broad lower meadows in the East Inlet valley on fairly level terrain. The trail then gains considerable elevation into the upper valley, through aspen and pines to a large and flat rock outcrop with excellent views west toward Grand Lake.
How to Get There
From downtown Grand Lake, go north on Garfield and turn right onto West Portal Rd. Travel about 1.5 miles to the end of the road.
