Trail Description
Make sure to get an early start for this hike, since almost the entire hike is above treeline and there is high potential of getting caught in an afternoon lightening storm. At Milner Pass, follow the Ute Trail a short ways, then branch off on the path going to the right that rises up into the alpine and follows the Continental Divide.

How to Get There
From Estes Park, travel approximately 28 miles up and over Trail Ridge Road, dropping down part way on the West Side to Poudre Lake at Milner Pass.
