Trail Description
A pleasant trail meandering through pine and aspen in Rocky Mountain National Park give this hike a back-country feel while walking on a wide, smooth level path. This hike is usually good for wildflowers. A side trail leads to the lower falls and a short, rocky trail goes to the upper falls. These are not big falls, but the provide a sunny place to enjoy sitting by a mountain river. How to Get There
Drive south of Estes Park on Hwy 7 13.5 miles, toward the town of Allenspark. Turn right at the Wild Basin Ranger Station sign and follow the dirt road for 2 miles to the trailhead at the end. |
